#saywhat? Liability Exposure for Tweets, Posts and Other Social Media Communications

Can your company be sued by a competitor for a disparaging blog post? Did a company tweet misrepresent a product or service? What are your employees doing on social media? Very few companies understand the potential liability exposure that flows from statements made on social media outlets such as blogs, Twitter accounts, and Facebook pages. David Wong, Chair of Barnes & Thornburg’s Internet and Technology Law Group, will co-host a program at the 2015 National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s Annual Convention (NAPABA) that will provide an overview of the potential liability exposure companies face by using social media, and discuss ways to protect against these risks.
