We’ve provided a primer on the new Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA), now join us for a deeper dive into the most significant development in intellectual property law in recent years. This webinar presentation addresses the civil seizure provision which is considered the most controversial section of the DTSA. It represents a significant departure from existing state trade secret law and a potentially powerful remedy for trade secret owners to stop the dissemination of a trade secret, especially overseas, before its value has been lost through public disclosure. We will review the provisions enacted for such a seizure to occur as well as the provisions that are intended to protect against abuse and wrongful seizures.

Share an hour with four of our experienced trade secret lawyers who have extensive experience advising on and litigating trade secret claims.

1.0 hour of CLE credits are potentially available depending on jurisdiction.
