Purdue Discovery Park’s Opportunity Zones

The Higher Education Practice Group hosted Brian Edelman, the president of Purdue Research Foundation, on March 27 for a presentation in the Indianapolis office regarding Purdue Discovery Park’s Opportunity Zones. Eric Williams of the Indianapolis office spearheaded the event and was emcee. As a result of the 2017 changes in tax laws, qualified properties may be designated as an opportunity zone to encourage innovation and investment in order to achieve certain tax advantages.
