National Candle Association 2023 Annual Meeting and Exhibition

Christine Sohar Henter presented at the National Candle Association’s (NCA) 2023 Annual Meeting and Exhibition in Charleston, South Carolina. Christine presented on the upcoming sunset review of the long-standing trade remedy, strategies for successfully building a U.S. company coalition to preserve the tariffs, and numerous hot trade topics and compliance regulatory issues affecting the U.S. candle industry and its suppliers. The NCA has one of the longest-imposed anti-dumping duty orders on imports of petroleum wax candles from China, and U.S. candle manufacturers have fervently defended the tariffs for nearly 40 years. The firm sponsored the annual meeting’s welcoming reception for over 300 member companies.
