Attracting and retaining top talent in Indiana's life sciences sector requires a multifaceted approach that addresses both the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.
Since 2020, the life sciences industry has continued to surge ahead, employing over 2.2 million and expanding its labor by a net 169,000 workers. The demand for quality talent heavily outweighs the supply, which has led to intense competition for talent and subsequent impacts on wage growth, recruitment, retention and baseline hiring criteria across the globe, country and more specifically, in Indiana.
Indiana has opportunities to foster collaboration between the industry, academia, and government to create a vibrant ecosystem that supports talent development and retention in life sciences professions. If this collaboration is capitalized upon, Indiana can position itself as a destination of choice for professionals in the life sciences field.
We invite you to join our conversation with industry leaders to discuss how companies across the industry can contribute to a developing workforce, improve the pipeline, and overcome the challenges that face the industry today.
Networking and lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at noon. There will not be a Zoom option for this session.
