Barnes & Thornburg, D CEO Team Up for Women Leaders in Law Panel

DALLAS – Finding satisfaction in a fast-paced and demanding legal career is the topic for this year’s D CEO Women Leaders in Law Breakfast Panel event. Barnes & Thornburg is the leading corporate sponsor for the popular breakfast, set for Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020, at the Communities Foundation of Texas.

This year’s panel, featuring Jenni Tauzel and Tamara Baggett, partners at Barnes & Thornburg, will focus on finding fulfillment in a career in the legal industry and overcoming burnout.

“Creating a dialogue for women in law is imperative, and these discussions are always fruitful in brainstorming new ways for women to feel a greater sense of agency in their practice,” said Tauzel. “I’m thrilled that Barnes & Thornburg has a role in this panel and hope that these important conversations continue across the profession.”

Added Baggett, “We look forward to discussing practical ways in which women can overcome the inevitable hurdles that they will face in their practice. Women have to be intentional in their path to finding fulfillment in the legal profession, and we look forward to sharing our experiences in doing so.”

The panel will be moderated by Christine Perez, Editor, D CEO Magazine. In addition to Tauzel and Baggett, panelists include Gemma Descoteaux, a partner at Sheppard Mullin, and Meyling Ly-Ortiz, managing counsel with Toyota Motor North America.
