Goedert, who is chair of Barnes & Thornburg’s Associations and Foundations group, was featured for her leadership efforts involving more than 300 nonprofit organizations, including professional societies, trade associations, public charities and private foundations During the COVID-19 pandemic, Goedert guided several hundred nonprofits through meeting cancellations, insurance claims and denials, virtual elections, staff furloughs, infected employees, office re-openings, and raids on endowments.
A partner in the firm’s Chicago office, Goedert has served as general or lead counsel for many national associations that represent prominent economy drivers, industries and professionals.
