Barnes & Thornburg has increased its investment in the Leadership Council for Legal Diversity (LCLD) and commitment to advancing all talent by selecting three attorneys this year, to represent the firm in two LCLD national legal programs. LCLD is one of the nation’s leading organizations promoting diversity and consists of more than 430 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who have dedicated themselves to creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession.
Adetayo Osuntogun, partner in the Washington, D.C., office, will participate in the 2023 LCLD Fellows program.
Alyssa Hughes and Mihran Yezbekyan will participate in the 2023 LCLD Pathfinders program. Hughes is an associate in the firm’s Indianapolis office and Yezbekyan is an associate in the Los Angeles office.
The Fellows program is a year-long, structured training program designed to build relationships and leadership skills that involves peer-group projects and in-person training. The Pathfinders program gives early-career professionals the opportunity to learn about leadership and career development and how to build professional networks.
“LCLD has been a long-standing partner of Barnes & Thornburg. Their pathfinder and fellow programs align with our mission to position all of our talent to win,” said Dawn R. Rosemond, firm diversity partner. “We know that these programs will only further elevate Adetayo, Alyssa and Mihran’s professional practice and presence.”
