Allie assists with legal research, analysis and virtually all forms of litigation-related drafting, including briefs, motions and discovery. Before joining the firm full-time, she was a law clerk with Barnes & Thornburg.
Allie currently serves on the team of the Special Compliance Coordinator, appointed by the U.S. Department of Commerce, to monitor, assess, and report on the U.S. export control compliance of Zhongxing Telecommunications Equipment Corporation, of Shenzhen, China, and ZTE Kangxun Telecommunications Ltd. of Hi-New Shenzhen, China (collectively, ZTE).
During law school, Allie was a Lane Evans Home Court Fellow with the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless and was also a research assistant with the O’Neill Institute at Georgetown University Law Center, where she assisted in researching international vaccination policy and assessed and categorized U.S. legislation surrounding immunization.
While an undergrad, Allie was a member of The University of Chicago Student Health Advisory Board, through which she designed, administered, and presented survey data on patient use of and satisfaction with Student Health and Counseling Services (SHCS); and she advocated for student needs regarding health and counseling, and regarding their private health information, with university leadership.
Allie was also an extern for Judge Thomas Durkin in the Federal District Court of the Northern District of Illinois and an intern for U.S. Rep. Todd Rokita.
