Erin’s practice is focused on defending product liability and commercial litigation matters for manufacturers, distributors and sellers of consumer and industrial products, medical devices and pharmaceuticals, in complex litigation actions across the country.
She has handled and managed virtually all aspects of pretrial practice, including preparing and arguing motions, drafting pleadings and discovery, and taking and defending party, expert and fact witness depositions.
In addition to her product liability and commercial litigation work, Erin also has significant experience with probate matters, including the representation of both individuals and private entities in contested estate litigation, as well as the initiation and oversight of estates and trusts.
Since joining Barnes & Thornburg, Erin has also assisted pro bono clients with a range of legal issues, including defending a young individual in a noncompete action brought in federal court, representing prisoners with respect to due process violations, and working to resolve an animal custody dispute.
