Kyle is involved with many aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and summary judgment briefs. Additionally, he takes depositions, prepares expert witnesses for trial, and performs research on related matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Kyle served as assistant chief counsel for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in Chicago. In this role, he represented DHS in civil litigation, which included matters involving national security offenses, human rights violations, and fraud. Additionally, Kyle provided counsel to DHS law enforcement personnel.
Kyle began his legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Charles R. Norgle in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. While in law school, he gained additional legal experience as a judicial extern for the Honorable Robert W. Gettleman in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
