As a law clerk at the firm before joining full-time, Megha assisted with a 50-state survey about pharmacist scope of practice, laboratory licensure law and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA)-waived tests. Likewise, she assisted attorneys with the examination of contracts and preparation of due diligence for a nursing facility acquisition.
Prior to her work at the firm, Megha was a legal extern at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, where she drafted, reviewed, and summarized visiting research agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and sub-awardee agreements, among others. She also performed routine privacy breach analyses in compliance with HIPAA.
Megha began her career working with the American Orthopaedic Association, where she served as Own the Bone Program Coordinator. She was responsible for hospital site recruitment and retention in the program, which is a post-fragility fracture quality improvement offering based on health education and registry data.
