Paulina oversees a wide range of U.S. nonimmigrant matters. Based on new and emerging trends and changes in legislation, she provides strategic solutions for employment-based immigration cases and visas, including B-1, E-1, E-2, E-3, H-1B, H-1B1, L blanket, L-1A, L-1B, O-1, P, and TN. She also guides responses to requests for evidence and notice of intents to deny.
Additionally, Paulina assists clients – ranging from employees of large entities to individuals – seeking permanent residence with a variety of I-140 petitions, including extraordinary ability (EB-1A), outstanding researchers or professors (EB-1B), National Interest Waiver, and multinational managers and executive (EB-1C). She also manages the Program Electronic Review Management (PERM) process for clients and coordinates adjustment of status and citizenship applications.
Paulina is skilled in offering onboarding and immigration training to various size company clients including, human resources, business partners, and mobility groups. She has facilitated outbound global immigration process training, including a review of international transfers. Moreover, Paulina supports her clients with procedural and case processing issues. She designs and creates billing structures, metrics and other initiatives to facilitate client retention. She also assists clients with immigration policy, processes, and protocol design and execution, including budgets and financial forecasts.
Because Paulina is passionate about global mobility, she participates in various expatriate management courses, as well as global tax events and webinars. She is also is working toward her Global Mobility Specialist designation.
