Sydney works as part of litigation teams involved in sophisticated trials and single- and multi-plaintiff claims. Her practice focuses on complex contractual disputes, construction litigation, general business litigation, and environmental litigation. Sydney’s environmental litigation work predominantly focuses on CERCLA and novel PFAs issues.
Prior to joining the firm, she worked for a state court judge, in addition to working for a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. While in those roles, Sydney assisted with multiple preliminary injunctions and aided in trial preparation for constitutional, civil, and criminal law cases. In those roles, she researched complex issues involving the Clean Water Act, tort cases, and class action disputes.
While at Notre Dame Law School, Sydney earned numerous awards for her excellence in brief writing and her work as part of the esteemed Showcase Moot Court team. She also served as the President of the Environmental Law Society and worked as an extern for EPA Region 2, focusing her work on CERCLA matters throughout the East Coast.
In her free time, Sydney enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time on Lake Michigan.
