Lisa enjoys distilling complex issues down to digestible ideas, refining key themes and evidence into demonstratives, and synthesizing all components into compelling client advocacy and trial presentation. Her professional background encompasses advising clients in many aspects of litigation, including client counseling, depositions and discovery, expert witness engagement and discovery, pre-trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.
Lisa represents individuals and businesses of all sizes in entertainment, intellectual property and complex commercial litigation. In addition to her trial skills, Lisa is a strategic litigator advocating on behalf of clients to protect their valuable intellectual property, including in trade secrets, trademarks and copyright.
As an intellectual property litigator, Lisa enjoys working closely with clients to understand complex scientific or technological concepts underlying their innovative products and designs. She is passionate about leveraging her attention to detail and mastery of the facts to inform the court and persuade a jury.
Lisa’s practice includes completing pre-litigation assessments and recommendations, initiating and responding to interrogatories and document discovery in multi-party litigation, and preparing and defending client depositions. Additionally, she counsels clients on mediation and pre-arbitration briefings in civil motion practice and dispute resolution.
Lisa’s background includes international experience working while in law school as an intern at a law firm in Tokyo, Japan, and as an appellate chamber intern for the U.N. International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague, Netherlands.
Prior to joining the firm, Lisa was an associate with a boutique California-based trial and litigation firm, where she represented litigation and corporate clients, including as second chair in a bench trial and a multi-week virtual arbitration.
