Julia drafts complaints, motions to dismiss, discovery requests and other court documents. She also prepares clients for appearances with government agencies, negotiations, depositions, and for trial.
Combining her intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm, Julia has a keen ability to apply her well-versed understanding of the litigation process to her clients, because she takes the time to get to know their business and their people.
In addition to her commercial litigation work, Julia has experience representing and advising nonprofit clients on a wide range of employment and data security matters.
Julia also maintains a robust pro bono practice which included a fellowship at Her Justice, a nonprofit organization that performs legal services for domestic violence victims in New York City.
Prior to attending law school, Julia worked in academic publishing, where she was responsible for shepherding authors through the various stages of the publishing process – honing skills she uses presently in guiding clients through the various stages of litigation.
