Renee's practice spans a variety of domestic and international industries, such as the medical, automotive, alternative energy, and fermentation technology sectors. She excels in identifying the unique attributes of innovations in developing patent applications with a focus on ensuring robust protection. Her skills extend to advising on design patents and preparing legal opinions on infringement and freedom-to-operate matters.

Beyond traditional patent work, Renee contributes her skills to high-profile compliance projects. She is a member of the team assisting the Special Compliance Coordinator appointed by the U.S. Department of Commerce to monitor, assess and report on the U.S. export control compliance of Zhongxing Telecommunications Equipment Corporation, of Shenzhen, China, and ZTE Kangxun Telecommunications Ltd. Of Hi-New Shenzhen, China (collectively, ZTE).

Renee is not regularly admitted to practice law in the local courts of the District of Columbia. Pursuant to Rule 49 her practice in the District of Columbia is limited to federal courts and agencies.
