Attorney Presentation - "Robert H. McKinney School of Law's annual Intellectual Property Law and Innovation Symposium"

Julia Gard of the Indianapolis office participated in a panel discussion at the Robert H. McKinney School of Law's annual Intellectual Property Law and Innovation Symposium on March 22. Julia, who served on the panel alongside attorneys from Ice Miller and Smith Amundsen, discussed client counseling and malpractice problems arising from trademark clearance searches; trademark selection and prosecutions to avoid violation of federal criminal law on marijuana (legal in some states); free speech; and the Supreme Court's upcoming decision on scandalous trademark registrations.
