As technology continues to evolve, lawyers need to stay competent in technology advances and how such advances implicate the Rules of Professional Conduct, particularly with regard to social media. For instance, while non-lawyers have the liberty to post anything they want on social media, lawyers are bound by the Rules of Professional Conduct in all of their actions and posts, whether personal or professional.
