Crain's Chicago Business and Law360 Report on AlphaMetrix's Court-Appointed Receiver

Deb Thorne of the Chicago office is the court-appointed receiver for AlphaMetrix and AlphaMetrix Group, which sued former AlphaMetrix officers in Federal Court. The former officers lavishly spent more than $1.6 million on meetings and funded their personal accounts despite the companies' declining revenue. The complaint filed seeks $19 million owed to the company's trading adviser partners and creditors. Anne DePrez of the Indianapolis office drafted the complaint for this matter. More can be read about this in the Crain's Chicago Business article, "Receiver sues AlphaMetrix for $19 million" or in Law360's article, "Alphametrix Receiver's $19M Suit Says Brass Bled Company Dry."
