As of counsel in the Chicago office, Christina “Tina” Janice helps clients navigate the challenges of growing and managing their workforce. With a practice spanning nearly 30 years as a career litigator, trial lawyer and former head of litigation for a multinational S&P 500 company, Janice is sought out by major corporations and local business owners for providing sophisticated representation to budget in defending class and collective actions multidistrict and single plaintiff litigation, and government investigations. She earned her J.D. from Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1991 and her B.A. in history and Russian studies from John Carroll University in 1988.
An associate in the New York office, Maria Monte focuses her practice on the formation, structuring and operation of private investment funds, as well as on advising institutional and other investors regarding potential investments in private funds. Monte counsels private investment fund clients, including private equity funds, hedge funds, credit funds and venture funds, in virtually every step of strategic fundraising, ongoing operation and regulatory compliance. She earned her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in 2014 and her B.A. in English from Cornell University in 2009.
Lisa Wilkerson, a paralegal in the Atlanta office, has more than 25 years of experience providing assistance in virtually all phases of litigation, from initiating civil actions to facilitating discovery and supporting trials and appeals in state and federal courts as well as various alternative dispute resolution forums. Wilkerson reviews, organizes and analyzes documents and materials obtained in discovery, prepares pleadings, related testimony, and exhibits for trial. She earned her B.A. in liberal arts and sciences from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University and her paralegal certificate litigation from the National Center for Paralegal Training in 1991.
