Barnes & Thornburg Attorneys, Specialist Appointed to Indiana Governor-Elect Mike Braun’s Transition Councils

Seven Barnes & Thornburg team members have been appointed to Indiana Governor-elect Mike Braun’s transition councils. They will help guide state agency reviews, drive policy development across Indiana’s government, and prepare the administration to implement its agenda.

Among those from the firm is Indianapolis office managing partner Brian L. Burdick, who was appointed chair of the Local and Municipal Affairs Transition Council.

The appointed Barnes & Thornburg team members and their respective roles are:

  • Makenzie Binford, government services specialist – Education Transition Council member
  • Brian L. Burdick, Indianapolis office managing partner – Local and Municipal Affairs Transition Council chair
  • Heather F. Delgado, partner – Health and Family Services Transition Council member
  • Christopher Greisl, of counsel – Local and Municipal Affairs Transition Council member
  • Brandt Hershman, partner – Commerce Transition Council member
  • Thomas J. Lyons, III, associate – Business Affairs Transition Council member
  • Matthew E. Morgan, partner – Business Affairs Transition Council member
