Elizabeth has experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications involving a wide range of technologies, including mechanical systems, medical devices, structures, imaging systems, vehicular systems, industrial equipment, manufacturing systems, green technologies and consumer products.
Prior to joining the firm, Elizabeth served as a patent agent at an Atlanta-based law firm. Before working in the legal industry, Elizabeth worked in telecommunications as subject matter expert for call center, wireless solutions and emerging technologies, providing technical assurance and validation of hardware and software solutions. As a senior design engineer, Elizabeth designed the more complex telecommunication solutions for single and multi-site systems at large enterprise and global customers.
Her background also includes an emphasis in aerospace structures, which led to research in the area of nondestructive evaluation for inspection of aircraft, engines and other systems. Specifically, her graduate studies focused on using radiography and image processing to improve techniques for the detection of defects or damage in critical parts, which included research work at the world’s largest aerospace company.
