Kiara relies on her legal research skills to assist intellectual property clients with their patent, copyright, and trademark issues.
Before joining Barnes & Thornburg full-time, Kiara was a summer associate with the firm. She researched case law, drafted memoranda, and crafted legal arguments for intellectual property and litigation matters.
Kiara also worked with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Office of Legal Affairs as a trademark law clerk. She filed trademark applications, authored distinct goods and services descriptions, and corresponded with U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) counsel.
