Peter advises creditors and trustees, and offers significant experience with troubled debt financing. His clients include indenture trustees, commercial banks, insurance companies, institutional investors, mutual funds and credit enhancers.
Peter represents a number of different types of clients, including master and special servicers in REMIC and CDO-based securitizations in both in- and out-of-court settings, as well as creditors in healthcare credits involving nursing homes, assisted living centers, CCRCs, hospitals and hospital systems. He also represents clients in asset acquisitions and divestitures via 363 sales and foreclosure, equity and portfolio companies in workouts, bankruptcies and wind downs, and manufacturers and suppliers to several Tier I and Tier II auto suppliers in bankruptcy matters.
Appreciated for his assessment of each client’s position, Peter is patient and persistent when managing and shepherding even the most divergent positions and emotions on all sides of a matter. As a result, he is able to help clients reach the desired outcome efficiently, even when faced with challenging roadblocks.
In addition to his bankruptcy practice, Peter advises on sports law related to athlete representation, contract negotiation, licensing, trademark disputes, marketing and endorsement. He has represented a number of high-profile professional athletes, teams and sponsors, and has appeared in several motorsports trade publications for his experience with athlete representation.
