With solid judicial clerkship experience working under judges throughout the Midwest, Charlie offers clients a considerable understanding of the litigation process at every level. He is a skilled researcher and writer and uses these skills to effectively spot issues from the outset and formulate them into an effective litigation strategy.
Before joining the firm, Charlie was a law clerk for the Honorable Patience Roggensack of the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the Honorable Geoffrey Slaughter of the Indiana Supreme Court, where he participated in virtually every stage of the appellate process, from writing pre-argument memoranda to preparing opinions in a wide array of civil and criminal cases.
During law school, Charlie gained additional knowledge as a judicial extern for the Honorable Robert L. Miller, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. He also was a law clerk for the Honorable Stephen Bowers and the Honorable Kristine Osterday of the Elkhart Superior Court.
