Mike has spent time in the private and public sectors, learning the ins and outs of business and government. With such experience, he is able to apply that knowledge to help his clients understand and navigate the rules and regulations impacting their businesses and functions.
Prior to joining the firm full-time, Mike was a legislative intern for Barnes & Thornburg in the Indiana General Assembly during the 2021 session, where, he provided clients with comprehensive updates and helped navigate them through the legislative process.
Mike gained diverse experience in both the finance and legal fields working for Owens Corning as a business financial analyst and internal auditor, part of its Finance and Accounting Leadership Program. Over the course of three years, he rotated through four different roles, gaining insight in different areas of manufacturing finance, addressing non-compliant controls, finding resolutions for patents around the globe, and forecasting several metrics, such as supply and demand.
During law school, Mike interned twice with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office and was a legal extern with the Marion County Office of Corporation Counsel. He dealt with cases involving violent and non-violent crimes, as well as civil cases centered on qualified immunity.
