Amy advises on ethics, loss prevention and risk management, and facilitates the resolution of conflicts of interests. She regularly reviews and approves new business to ensure accuracy and adherence with firm policies and procedures, as well as with the Rules of Professional Conduct.
Additionally, Amy performs due diligence for legal and lateral hires and assists lateral attorneys and staff with their integration into the firm.
While in private practice, Amy practiced immigration law with a boutique firm in the Denver metropolitan area, working primarily with companies moving employees internationally. Amy then transitioned to ethics work full-time, working as assistant regulation counsel with the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel, the Colorado Independent Ethics Commission, and as ethics and conflicts counsel with a Denver litigation firm, of which she later became executive director.
Dedicated to equitable access to law school and the legal profession, Amy is passionate about building a pipeline into the legal profession and mentoring the next generation for success.
