Rebecca is a member of the firm’s Corporate Department and Entertainment, Media and Sports Practice Group. Rebecca has nearly a decade of experience providing comprehensive legal advice to individuals and businesses involved in complex domestic and international transactions.
Rebecca is highly skilled in handling transactions from start to finish, from initial discussions and due diligence, through drafting key documents and tracking post-closing obligations. She is valued for her ability to assess complex transactions, break them down into their component parts, and direct large teams of attorneys, business folks and consultants towards accomplishing a common goal.
Rebecca has extensive experience representing entertainment companies, including companies focused on music, television, film, podcasts, video games, virtual reality, live concerts and sports competitions. She has formed entities, reorganized companies with an eye towards later investment, established form databanks and best practices, facilitated domestic and international acquisitions and provided day-to-day guidance. She has also advised on issues relating to name/image/likeness, exploitation of trademarks, competition rules and filming logistics.
In addition to her entertainment industry experience, Rebecca also represents manufacturers and distributors of products ranging from electrical parts, athletic shoes, motorcycles and pasta sauce.
Rebecca is often called in to analyze corporate disputes and resolve issues before they escalate to formal litigation. She has analyzed alleged breaches of credit agreements, private investments, mergers and asset purchase agreements, as well as breaches of employment contracts for c-suite executives and vendor agreements.
With her deep knowledge of corporate governance and her ability to navigate complex transactions, Rebecca is a valuable asset to her clients.
