Rochelle Lynn Calderon

Rochelle’s litigation practice includes representation of employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters, including Private Attorneys General Act (“PAGA”) and class actions, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, whistleblower retaliation claims, wage and hour cases, including those related to 'off the clock' work, time keeping, compensable time, overtime pay, time and payroll records, meal periods, and reimbursements. She has experience in alternative dispute resolution proceedings, including mediation and arbitration. She is able to support clients in achieving their business goals through strategic counseling, drafting employment and labor agreements, and managing litigation.

While in law school, Rochelle was a Bono High Honors recipient, Faculty Awards recipient, and Dean’s Award recipient. She was also a certified law student under the California State Bar of California PTLS Program and provided legal defense representation to low-income individuals in court. Rochelle also served as the chapter director of the International Refugee Assistance Project and the student director of the Clean Slate Clinic hosted at the Legal Aid Society of Orange County.

Before joining Barnes & Thornburg, she practiced with an Am Law 100 firm in Orange County, California, and prior to that she practiced with the largest global management-side labor and employment law firm.
