Allison drafts responses to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission and notices of deposition for various ligation matters. She also reviews plaintiff fact sheets, medical records, discovery responses and produced documents for purposes of case assessment, development, and settlement.
In addition, Allison drafts, reviews and analyzes pre-trial motions in a variety of product liability cases. Allison also has a variety of experience using e-discovery software to analyze and code documents for responsiveness and privilege, draft privilege logs, and identify important documents for use in depositions or trial.
Prior to joining the firm, Allison worked in the litigation and product liability departments of another Washington, D.C., firm, where she worked on litigation related to pharmaceuticals, toxic torts and complex commercial litigation claims.
Allison also gained experience serving as a law clerk for the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Civil Division, where she focused on environmental tort litigation, and as a paralegal for the DOJ Tax Division, where she was part of the Office of Review.
