She previously worked for the firm as a summer associate and as a law clerk in the Washington, D.C., office. Marissa drafted summaries of deals and contracts, wrote memoranda and drafted motions, and led a team in conducting interviews related to international export control compliance.
A former NCAA Division I ice hockey player at Holy Cross, Marissa also worked with the firm’s University and Professional Athletics group developing sustainable growth strategies for various universities and NCAA athletic conferences.
Marissa also gained experience as a legal intern for Microstrategy Inc., where she drafted contracts and negotiations processes for domestic and international clients for platform as a service sales and convertible notes transactions. She also was a judicial intern in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Marissa is deeply involved in the community, including her volunteer and board service at the Ronald McDonald House Charities. In addition, while an undergraduate, she was head coach of the women’s ice hockey team.
