Studying in the U.S. can be both challenging and exciting for foreign national students. Upon completion of their studies, some foreign national students seek employment opportunities in the U.S. These students, and their prospective employers, often find the immigration process challenging and cumbersome to navigate. Barnes & Thornburg’s Immigration and Global Mobility Services practice group designed our Immigration Pathfinder Program to help employers and foreign national students with the complex employment visa sponsorship process.
The goal of the program is to provide support to foreign national students seeking to transition from student visas to employment visas. Current students and recent graduates are eligible to participate in the Immigration Pathfinder Program.
To start the process, please inform your prospective employer or current employer about the Immigration Pathfinder Program and if the organization is receptive, please contact us via email at immigration@btlaw.com and provide your contact information. Our office will contact you to discuss your employment scenario and immigration goals and then will contact your prospective employer or current employer and discuss the immigration options and cost.
If the employer wishes to initiate the process, we will follow-up with you to begin the engagement process, and to secure required information and documentation for the visa sponsorship process.
