State of Downtown Columbus

February was a busy month for the Columbus office at the Columbus Metropolitan Club (CMC), a weekly luncheon forum and one of the office’s community partnerships. On Feb. 20, the firm was program sponsor for a panel on the “State of Downtown Columbus;” the panel included firm client Joel Pizzuti. Bill Nolan of the Columbus office introduced the speakers. Laing Akers, Kelly Atkinson and Bryan Venesy of the Columbus office also helped entertain community leaders, clients, and friends of the office over lunch. On Feb. 27, Kelly, a CMC board member and membership chair, presided over a program on how the city retained the Major League Soccer club Columbus Crew. Both programs were attended by hundreds of businesspeople and community leaders.
