Julia B. Dural

Julia has experience working with clients in virtually all aspects of real estate transactions, including traditional and commercial real estate, property and portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, and renewable energy. Julia primarily represents clients in the renewable energy sector including in mergers and acquisitions, transactions, renewable power leases, surface-use agreements, easements and complex ground leases for a variety of commercial and industrial uses.

Starting as a summer associate with the firm in 2018, Julia was a 1L fellow of Barnes & Thornburg’s Diverse Attorney Pipeline Program.

Julia was a student attorney at the University of Texas School of Law’s Immigration Clinic while in law school, where, among other responsibilities, she co-led a successful asylum case. She also worked for the Center for American and International Law and as a legislative intern for then-Texas State Rep. Eric Johnson, who became mayor of Dallas.

In her spare time, she can be found spending time with her Pomeranians, exploring the city’s dining scene, and watching food documentaries.
