Basic Export Controls - ITAR, EAR and Sanctions

A fundamental overview of U.S. Export Controls and Sanctions.

After completing this course, you will be able to understand basic and important U.S. export control concepts under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). This introductory course is for business executives, international contracting specialists, contract managers and administrators, program and project managers, marketing professionals, engineers and other technical personnel, newly appointed export compliance officers, logistics personnel, and legal and financial advisors.

• Export jurisdiction and classification analysis of defense and “dual use” hardware, software, and technical data/technology, as well as defense services

Attendees will gain an understanding of how these regulations impact your ability to do business in the international marketplace.
