ATLANTA – Barnes & Thornburg announced today the addition of John J. Ginley III and Marc R. Bulson as partners in the firm’s Atlanta office. Ginley and Bulson join the firm’s Real Estate Department from one of the five largest law firms in Atlanta.
Ginley concentrates his practice on real estate development, acquisitions, dispositions, financings, preferred equity transactions, commercial leasing, and real estate investment trust (REIT) mergers and acquisitions. He represents owners, borrowers, syndicators, investors, and developers in complex commercial transactions. In addition, Ginley practices in the debt restructuring arena, advising commercial real estate borrowers on strategic alternatives to loan workouts and restructuring.
Bulson represents clients in virtually all stages of real estate development, acquisition, disposition, financing, and leasing. He advises local and national developers, owners, and investors in complex real estate transactions and provides leasing guidance to landlords and tenants in various asset classes throughout the country. Bulson’s practice spans several industries, including retail, hotel, multifamily, industrial and office properties.

Ginley earned his J.D., cum laude, from Syracuse University and his B.S. from Boston College. Bulson earned his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis and his B.A. from Union College.
