Three years ago, our Diversity and Inclusion Committee decided a shift was in order. Since then, our diversity and inclusion efforts have been aggressively and without hesitation, moving us toward being a better Barnes & Thornburg.
Our 2019 Diversity and Inclusion Annual Report reflects the concept of "automaticity," the point at which we begin to do things automatically. When compiling this report, it occurred to Dawn Rosemond, Firm Diversity Partner, that we have indeed reached the stage where our authentic commitment is now reflective of who we are as a firm. The pages that follow demonstrate our shift toward "being" versus just "doing."
We hope you enjoy this reflection of the past year and see that our commitment to diversity and inclusion is not just a business imperative, but a truth we strive to live by every day.
