才能ある外国人の雇用が不可欠となった今日、その必要性に共感し、現実的なアドバイスを提供できる移民法弁護士として、金融、銀行、教育、運輸、医療など様々な業種の企業に対し、PERMを通じた永住権申請、多種におよぶ就労ビザ取得（H-1B、O-1、E-2、R-1、E-3、L-1ほか）など、外国人雇用のサポートに尽力している
米国国土安全保障省によるI-9監査、社会保障庁（SSA）によるノー・マッチ・レター、労働省によるH-1B労働者の賃金・労働時間監査等への対応、およびこれらの社内での管理に関するアドバイスを提供している
学生や教職員の入国管理、教員やその他の専門職のビザや永住権のスポンサー、合法的な入国管理スポンサーシップ・プログラム等に関し、訴訟を含め、高等教育機関の代理を務め、入国管理問題に幅広くアドバイスを提供している。また、SEVPプログラムの規則遵守のため、留学生に総合的なアドバイスを提供している。さらに、DACA受給者、特定の大統領布告対象国からの留学生、亡命申請者に影響を及ぼす移民政策の変更や訴訟について、頻繁に講演を行っている
投資家、科学者、研究者、芸術家等の個人クライアントにも積極的に法務サービスを提供しており、国外退去、Uビザ申請、連邦裁判所での訴訟など、家族ベースの移民・帰化問題において個人クライアントを代理している。
また、National Immigrant Justice Center、Chicago Volunteer Legal Servicesを通じて、移民やその家族を支援するプロボノ活動も行っている。
バーンズ＆ソーンバーグ入所以前は、シカゴの移民法専門の法律事務所、および労働・雇用・教育専門の事務所に弁護士として勤務した。ロースクール在学中は、ワシントンD.C.の米国保健福祉省でロークラークを務めた。
